Taking care of your Apply Applicator®

How do I maintain my Apply® Applicator?

Immediately after use flush the applicator thoroughly with warm, clean water and re-lubricate the O-ring with olive oil or any food grade vegetable oil.

What do I sterilise my applicator with?

Use a cold water sterilant only.

The plunger appears to be stuck.

The valve maybe stuck due to a particular product, residual product that has crystallised or other blockages. Whilst your applicator is submersed under water, block one end and squeeze, then block the other end and squeeze. For products that appear to make the applicator stick, we recommend regularly shaking the product. After use always flush applicator thoroughly with warm, clean water.

My applicator is not re-filling.

Check the bottle/pack or tubing is attached correctly. Check draw-off spike is fitted correctly (if applicable). Then disconnect bottle /pack or tube and flush the valves of any possible contaminant by submerging under warm water and pumping vigorously.

The plunger is sluggish.

Remove barrel by unscrewing and re-lubricating plunger 0-ring with olive oil or any food grade vegetable oil.

How do I set the dose on my variable applicator?

Turn volume control until front face of plunger is in line with the required calibration. Do not measure from the 0-ring.
